The Master of Science in Criminal Justice concentration in Cybercrime Investigation & Cybersecurity at Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET) provides practical and essential knowledge of cybercrime investigative techniques and cybersecurity practices.
While traditional crime has been on the decline since the 1990s, cybercrime has been on the rise. According to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), from its inception in 2000 through 2019, there have been 4,883,231 complaints received. In the years since 2015, IC3 reported an average of more than 340,000 complaints annually, with 10.2 billion in financial losses. That is just the tip of the iceberg, however, as some estimate that only 1 in 10 incidents are reported to law enforcement.

Entry requirements for 波士頓大學
TOEFL iBT:- 84 ( minimum scores in Reading—21, minimum scores in Listening—18, minimum scores in Speaking—23, minimum scores in Writing—22)
IELTS:- 6.5
Candidates for admission to the degree program are selected in part on the basis of transcripts of academic background, academic and professional references, career experience, and interviews or statements of intent.
A completed Application for Graduate Admission
Three letters of recommendation. It is required that one be an academic reference if you graduated or engaged in post-graduate education in the past three years
You must supply the name and email address of your recommenders in order to submit your application. Recommendations must be received before your application can be reviewed.
A personal statement (short essay discussing your motivation for study)
A current résumé
Transcript(s) from each college and graduate school attended. Unofficial transcripts can be uploaded to your application. Official transcripts will be required upon matriculation.
English language requirements
