The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers programs leading to the Master of Science (MS) degree in electrical engineering and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in electrical engineering. The MS program is designed to provide advanced coursework and experience in independent problem solving with a moderate degree of both breadth and specialization. The master's thesis and its defense provide for independent in-depth study of a current electrical engineering topic. Managed by the world-renowned FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, the graduate electrical engineering program at FSU Panama City is part of a leading academic institution with excellent records of achievement in research and public service. It is designed with the students’ success in mind with curriculum covering advanced topics such as electromagnetics, sonar, wireless communication and robot kinematics.
