Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology

The school psychology doctoral program prepares school psychologists to apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally and emotionally. This five year, full-time program is accredited by the American Psychological Association and is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists. The program includes four years of intensive academic preparation and field experiences plus a one-year, full-time internship. Graduates of the program may work in a variety of settings, including private and public schools, early childhood settings, universities, private practice clinics, and medical settings.
