Our M.F.A. Program in Writing and Producing for Television trains students to become writer-producers?the showrunners and creative leaders behind today?s top TV programming. You will master story and character development, storytelling structure, and cinematic style while gaining an insider's understanding of the TV business and developing a diverse portfolio of long- and short-form teleplays. In the final year of the program, you will polish your projects and learn how to pitch them to industry professionals so you are fully prepared to launch your TV career.

Entry requirements for 羅耀拉瑪麗蒙特大學
Two Letters of Recommendation
We require two official sealed transcripts supplied by all schools you attended.
International applicants who have completed their postsecondary education from an institution outside the U.S. must hold a degree from a university recognized by the Ministry of Education as a degree-granting institution. The minimum TOEFL score for admission into most graduate program is 100 internet-based (IELTS Overall Band Score of 7). The GRE is required for all applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0.
Personal Statement
Applicants to the graduate program in Writing for the Screen and Writing and Producing for Television must complete the Creative Challenge.
Create up to a two-minute video telling us who you are and why you want to tell stories. Simply record yourself telling your story on-camera. Do not script it, nor 'perform' the event. The recording will not be viewed past 2 minutes.
Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) required for admission is 3.0.
Applicants must have a U.S. bachelor's degree or the international equivalent.
