The Business Analytics specialization is focused on developing quantitative skills that are needed for data-driven decision making, business performance analysis, and business planning in organizations. Knowledge areas focus on modelling for analyzing data, predictive modeling, data visualization and effective data presentation.
The Business Analytics program is for students who are interested in developing a career in technology focused organizations as an analyst to provide insights and business solutions to complex business problems. Many students who select business analytics have undergraduate degrees in business, engineering, science, and information technology. The program provides a rational balance between the quantitative and management skills business professionals will need to progress in their careers.
Upon completion of the program, professionals will be able to lead data analytics projects as well as construct and visualize data-driven decision models. The career track begins with managing focused projects as business analysts, which then transition into managerial roles and lead business development teams. Sustained career progress tracks to the director of operations, COO and CTO.

Entry requirements for 紐澤西理工學院
Candidates who are interested in business solutions, consultation, business development and strategies, and infrastructure and planning management. Many students who select business analytics have undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Technology, and Applied Science and are seeking a career focused on business solutions development and management.
Applicants to the MS are required to have earned a bachelor's degree or the equivalent and to achieve an acceptable score on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the GRE test.
International students whose native language is not English are required to take the TOEFL exam (minimum score of 79) or the IELTS (minimum score of 6.5). Candidates with earned bachelor degrees with a minimum (GPA of 2.8) from US accredited institutions may waive the GMAT/GRE. Candidates with earned masters and PhD degrees from accredited US and Canada based institutions may also waive the GMAT/GRE requirement.
We urge applicants who have been out of school for a while to prepare for the GMAT or GRE before sitting for the exam.
The minimum score required is 79 for the Internet-based TOEFL exam, 213 for the computer-based TOEFL exam, or 550 for the paper-based TOEFL exam. A minimum score of 6.5 with no sub-score lower than 6.0 is required for the IELTS exam.
