Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art

Unabashed experimentation with materials, imagery, and technology are the hallmarks of this BFA in Studio Art. You'll earn the hands-on skills and artistic mastery to pursue professional ambitions that are just as unique as you are. Combining your emphasis and elective tracks in ceramics, new media arts, painting, printmaking, or sculpture with small classes and close interaction with your faculty mentors, you'll develop a combination of hands-on skills and creative problem-solving to prepare you for any artistic career. This degree takes advantage of NAU’s studio facilities to accustom students to working in studio environments. Students will learn important techniques, analysis of materials, planning, critique, global influences, and more.
