關於課程
The Middle Level English option is designed to support your growth and content understanding as an educator. This program helps you prepare to teach children in all subjects in grades four through six and English Language Arts in grades seven through eight. The option was developed using guidelines recommended by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE). As a student interested in the English option, you will typically take general education courses during the first two years. During this time, you will work to complete the Entrance to Major (ETM) requirements. By doing so, you will be eligible as a candidate for the English program that you will apply to during your fourth semester.

Official transcripts, which include all subjects studied each year and the grade/mark earned in each subject.
A minimum TOEFL score of 80 on the Internet-based TOEFL or 550 on the paper exam
A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 on the academic test
International Baccalaureate (IB): Score of 5 or higher on the English Language
Penn State requires first-year international students to submit an official score from the SAT or ACT examination.
