Prepare for a major in Journalism Studies by taking recommended courses to fulfill the requirements of a transfer degree. Journalism involves the gathering, preparing and dissemination of information through a variety of media outlets, such as newspapers, magazines, wire services, websites, radio and television. Students learn skills essential to the practice of journalism, such as writing, interviewing and research, while also gaining knowledge of how news media works and journalistic ethics and best practices. Students learn to look at media critically and study the evolution of journalism in a digital and global communications landscape.
The Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) is part of Shoreline?s General Transfer program and is designed to meet the first two years of requirements of most four-year degrees.

Entry requirements for 雪蘭社區學院
If you are under 18 years old at the time of orientation, submit your most recent academic record (transcript or diploma) OR If you have attended any U.S. schools, submit transcripts from each U.S. school you have attended OR If you are 18 years old or older and never attended a U.S. school, you do not need to submit any transcripts.
Internet-Based Test (iBT): 70 overall, 20 writing, Paper-Based Test (PBT): 533 overall, 59 writing. IELTS: 5.5 overall, 6.0 writing. International Baccalaureate: English A score of 5, 6, or 7.
