Entry requirements for 德州農工大學

Students interested in the Master of Engineering in Engineering program must meet and follow the requirements outlined below to be considered for admission:
Bachelor or Master of Science in an engineering discipline or closely-related equivalent
Minimum GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate degree and at the graduate level
Personal statement
In this one page essay, please give a description of why you want to pursue graduate studies in Interdisciplinary Engineering, specifically systems engineering, and why you feel that Texas A&M is the right place for your graduate studies. Also, include your academic background in this area, and any relevant experience you may have in this field. Your statement of purpose should be submitted through the online application system. Do not send hard copies of your SOP to the graduate office.
Three letters of recommendation from professors or employers (Current Texas A&M graduate students may submit two letters of recommendation)
It is preferred that these letters come from faculty or employers / supervisors who have been involved with the student’s most advanced levels of academic education and who can assess the student’s potential for advanced scholarly studies. Do not include letters from family friends or other non-technical referees who cannot fairly assess your academic abilities.

Official transcripts from all previously attended college institutions
International students must demonstrate a proficiency in English that is verified by either a minimum Verbal GRE score of 146 or a composite minimum TOEFL score of 80.
TOEFL - 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT) or 80 internet-based testing (i-BT). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall band.
