Special effects makeup artistry students master their art in the Creature Shop, which was designed in consultation with world famous Weta Workshop. The institute ensure its students are working on real clients in Cut Above Academy salons and also organizes real-world experience and contacts through opportunities working backstage on some of New Zealand's most exciting fashion and performing arts events.
