Pathways to prestigious degrees

Students will be set up for academic success at the university after completing their pathway program. The different programs on offer allow students to earn degree credits as well as improve their English language skills. Afterwards, they can progress on to an academic degree program at Hofstra University.

Hofstra's graduate successes

97 percent of graduating students are either employed, pursuing or planning on attending graduate school, according to the Alumni Outcomes survey 2020–21. 85 percent of students accept employment offers within six months of graduating, and 42 percent accept job offers at or before graduation (Alumni Outcomes survey 2020-21).

Career preparation

Hofstra gets students ready for the professional world, through industry-tailored programs, events, resources and services. This includes Curricular Practical Training (CPT) opportunities like the MBA and engineering co-op programs, industry learning facilities, networking events and other opportunities.

The university helps each student develop an impressive resume that will help them stand out in the competitive job market. Programs with paid Co-op (CPT) opportunities have estimated earning potential from USD 15,000 (MBA: 3-5 months) to USD 25,000 (Engineering and Computer Science: 6-8 months) during the degree program.

The CPT does not interfere with the up to 3 years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) and in fact help in being more successful in securing an OPT opportunity after graduation.
