Teaching quality

Teaching quality

Students who choose to enrol at the University of Tasmania are ensured of a high-quality experience. This is reinforced by the excellent graduate success ratings, with 94 per cent of students finding full-time work within three years of completing their studies.

The university doesn't rely on these figures though, and has instigated a Quality Matters program to ensure that all courses meet the expected standards of education. This helps course leaders to prepare effective, professional units of study that give students the most valuable information in an effective way.

Students will learn from experts in their field who have undergone extensive training both within the area of study and in how to present and deliver their knowledge to students. There is also access to extensive support services should students need extra academic help, or if they need to raise a concern about their course quality.
