About the course
The Electrical and Computer Engineering program is also offered through the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Electrical and Computer Engineering which allows our students access to the largest program in Canada with resources both at Carleton and the University of Ottawa. Carleton offers a collaborative specialization in Data Science and we recently added a collaborative specialization in Climate Change. We also offer these two master?s programs:
MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which requires the completion of a research thesis.
MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which is coursework only.

How to apply
Entry requirements for Carleton University
The normal requirement for admission to a master's program is a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline with a CGPA of B+.
IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 IELTS (minimum 6.0 in each band). Internet-based TOEFL - 86 (20 in reading and listening, 22 in speaking and writing). Paper-based TOEFL - 580.
English language requirements
