As a graduate student in electrical and computer engineering (MSECE) at Lawrence Tech, you will have an opportunity to learn from and work with our faculty whose research has been funded by corporations as well as the national foundations. You will become accustomed to analyzing, interpreting, implementing, writing and talking about the latest techniques and technologies, while putting them into perspective, always aware of professional issues such as ethics and lifelong learning. Lawrence Tech faculty will help you sharpen your skills in all aspects of computer and electrical engineering so that you can take your place in this vital field and create next-generation products, services and information systems, continuing to fuel our technology driven world.
Two Degree Options-
Coursework only: requiring 16 hours of core courses and 16 hours of technical electives.
Coursework plus thesis: requiring a combination 20 credit hours of any of the core and technical electives courses, plus a ten-credit-hour thesis for a total of 30 credit hours.

Entry requirements for Lawrence Technological University

A bachelor of science degree in electrical or computer engineering from an accredited college or university
A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
Three letters of recommendation
A professional resume
We require a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, 79 on the internet-based TOEFL, or a 6.5 on the IELTS
