Research in Molecular Medicine in the School of Medical Sciences is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of disease. This requires an integrative approach to the cellular and sub-microscopic aspects of disease using a range of biochemical, proteomic and genomic techniques. Our research is often performed in collaboration with other departments and schools in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences or the Faculty of Science.

Masters-level qualification or the equivalent of a bachelors degree with honours
Evidence of significant research, usually undertaken as part of prior study

IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5 and no bands below 6.0
Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - Overall score of 90 and a written score of 21
Paper-based TOEFL - Overall score of 575 and an Essay (TWE) of 4.5
