The goal of the M.S. program is to prepare students for a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry with strong skills in modern chemical techniques, as well as an understanding of issues such as drug action, drug design, and drug development.

The Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry provides advanced graduate training in the pharmaceutical and health sciences. The program provides professional training in quantitative methods that prepares graduates for careers in the medical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and biotechnology industries.

How to apply
Entry requirements for New Jersey Institute of Technology
BS degree in the chemical or biological sciences or engineering.
To be considered for a master's program at NJIT, you must have completed a four-year accredited Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, and demonstrate strong academic achievement in an appropriate discipline. Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. GRE/TOEFL/GMAT/IELTS results. One letter of recommendation. The minimum score required is 79 for the Internet-based TOEFL exam, 213 for the computer-based TOEFL exam, or 550 for the paper-based TOEFL exam. A minimum score of 6.5 with no sub-score lower than 6.0 is required for the IELTS exam.
