Bachelor of Design in Architecture

This degree introduces you to the rewarding profession of architecture. You will undertake a core program in architectural history and theory, communications, technology and design workshops, and access electives from across disciplines in arts, digital design, sustainability and urban design.
This course is for students who have an interest in architecture and the built environment, with a view to become a registered architect. Students with a passion for creativity and design will find opportunities to harness and develop these skills throughout the degree program.
The Bachelor of Design Architecture is an undergraduate coursework degree that will equip you with critical design, communication, problem solving and creative skills. You will complete core units along with elective units in arts, architecture, architectural science, design or planning.

Each semester revolves around a studio which explores aspects of the design process relating directly to the practice of the architectural profession. The studios are supplemented by core units of study in architectural history and theory, communications, technologies and art workshops. Methods of study will include studio work, lectures, seminars, field trips and workshops.
