About the course
This course is a professionally accredited engineering degree for students who have completed undergraduate studies in engineering. You'll specialise in a program of engineering and undertake advanced engineering technical units, professional units, design and research projects, and undertake a 12-week professional practicum. Beyond practice as a professional engineer, you'll pursue further research studies in engineering, as well as seek employment in a wide range of related industries.

How to apply
Entry requirements for The University of Western Australia
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—
(a) a UWA bachelor's degree with a major in Engineering Science,1 or
(b) a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA, and
(i) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 65 per cent, and
(ii) prior studies in engineering, physics or mathematics,
or
(c) completed units in the Master of Professional Engineering Preliminary course at UWA as prescribed by the Faculty,
or
(d) completed a UWA Diploma in Science with a major in Engineering Science.1
1 Students are required to achieve a course weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent in their bachelor's degree or a weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent in the Level 3 units of the Engineering Science major.
IELTS (Academic) including IELTS for UKVI (Academic)- Minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 (must include Academic Reading and Writing modules)
TOEFL - Essay Rating / Test of Written English (TWE) of 4.5 and either 230 (Computer-based) or 570 (Paper-based) score. Internet-based Test (iBT): An overall score of 82 with a minimum score of: 22 in the Writing section, 18 in the Reading section, 20 in the Speaking section, and 20 in the Listening section for all courses
