Welcome to the M.S. in Computer Science program at the University of Central Missouri. You will have access to high quality instruction in the most affordable computer science master?s program in the state of Missouri. As a matter of fact, we are the largest Computer Science master program in Missouri. The program is designed to assist you in becoming a senior computer professionals in the computer industry, and its focus is on the application of technology to solve a variety of practical problems. Recent graduates of the program are working in organizations such as Amazon, Boeing, Cerner, DST Systems, Garmin, IBM, J.P. Morgan, MasterCard, Microsoft, Sprint, Wal-Mart and many other Fortune 500 companies. Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) is a 30-hour program. Currently, three 18-hours tracks are available. These are: Software Development, Data Science, General Computer Science.

Entry requirements for University of Central Missouri

IELTS exam score of 6.0, TOEFL exam score of 79 IBT or 550 PBT. Admission is granted on the basis of applicant?s academic aptitude and potential which will be evaluated through academic record, test scores and/or work experience. To be admitted to the program, a student must have a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.8. Applicants must complete the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) with a minimum combined score of 291 in Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning. Applicants must submit official GRE test scores by Educational Testing Services (ETS) directly to the University of Central Missouri.

English language requirements
