If you are successful in becoming a J.P. Morgan scholar you must maintain a degree average in your exam results equivalent to a 2:1 each year. If you do not meet this yearly average your award may be withdrawn, subject to final approval from J.P. Morgan. Your exam average will be shared with J.P. Morgan.
Study level you are applying for: Undergraduate
Scholarships designed to support the brightest minds who are interested in software engineering and the technology industry. You must be a first year or a second year undergraduate students who is due to graduate in summer 2027, and will undertake an industrial placement year in 2025 in one of the following departments: Computer Science All courses in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (including Robotics Engineering) Mathematical Sciences Physics. You must be passionate about coding, keen to develop skills and confidence whilst you study and interested in a career in a technology-driven global company. Students from other degree programmes are also eligible to apply for a scholarship if they can demonstrate a high enough aptitude for technology, as measured through the selection process. The scholarship is aimed at, but not exclusive to, females interested in a career in technology and so is open to non-female applicants also. You may apply for one of these scholarships even if you have not currently elected to complete a placement year as part of your degree. However, the paid placement is a compulsory part of the scholarship, so you must be willing to commit to the placement year with J.P. Morgan if your application is successful. Each scholarship includes: £3,000 per year of study for 3 years (not paid in your placement year) a paid industrial placement opportunity in J.P. Morgan's technology department as a Software Engineer.
