Founded in 1964, BCIT inspires students beyond their classroom studies and provides job-ready graduates to industries across Canada and the world. British Columbia Institute of Technology is one of British Columbia's largest post-secondary institutions offering practical career credentials designed for the workplace, including degrees, diplomas and certificates spanning Applied and Natural Sciences, Business and Media, Computing and Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences and Trades.

BCIT offers a range of credentials from certificates to master’s degrees that help students fulfil their educational goals. Each credential combines applied theory and the practical skills needed to work in the chosen field. At BCIT, students learn theory and put it into practice all in one process.
