Christchurch College of English is UC & UCIC’s English language provider, based on UC’s campus in Christchurch. CCEL is an NZQA Category 1 school, as a result of its commitment to providing the highest possible level of academic quality and student support. Students from around the world have been learning English at CCEL since 1991. CCEL courses are approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and CCEL has the highest possible NZQA quality rating.

Christchurch College of English is an approved Cambridge ESOL examination centre, offering the Cambridge TKT, PET, FCE and CAE examinations at the Christchurch campus. It belongs to English New Zealand, the peak body for the English language sector. The experienced and friendly staff will help with all students learning needs and provide support with all their everyday life in New Zealand. It has a team of individuals who are passionate about people, different cultures, and the transforming power of international education.
