Eynesbury College purposefully keeps its class sizes small. As a result, students benefit from highly interactive classes with experienced teachers, where every voice is heard. Teachers and students quickly build a strong rapport, meaning learners are able to receive personalised advice and support throughout their time at college.

Classes incorporate practical teaching, group work and discussions, with students benefitting from a two hour lecture and two hour tutorial every week for each of their modules, resulting in a dynamic, communal study experience akin to university.

Foundation Studies Program

The Foundation Studies Program (FSP) can be studied as either an eight or 12-month program. It prepares students either for entry into undergraduate study at university, or to study at diploma level at Eynesbury College. Students are well supported so they can prepare for further studies at Australian universities, including:

  • The University of Adelaide
  • University of South Australia
  • Flinders University

Diploma programs

Eynesbury College diploma programs are advanced pre-university programs, offering specialisation in business, engineering and computing and IT.

The college offers two different types of diploma programs: the one year diploma pathway, and the two stage diploma pathway. Multiple intakes allow students to complete their diploma in as little as eight months, with direct entry into the second year of study at The University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, or Flinders University for most programs (subject to meeting entry requirements).

Diploma programs available at Eynesbury College include:

  • Diploma of Business Studies (Stage 1)
  • Diploma of Computing and IT Studies (Stage 1)
  • Diploma of Business (Stage 2)
  • Diploma of Computing and IT (Stage 2)
  • Diploma of Engineering (Stage 2)

English language programs (ELICOS)

Eynesbury college also offers accredited English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS). These language programs are available to students who are at a beginner level in the English language, with options available for more advanced English language speakers. The required IELTS result (or equivalent qualification) to enrol on an ELICOS program at Eynesbury College are as follows:

  • English for general purposes program (EGP): 3.5 points or below
  • English for general purposes preparation program (EAPP): overall 4.0 points
  • English for academic purposes program 1 (EAP1): overall 4.5 points
  • English for academic purposes program 2 (EAP2): overall 5.0 points
  • English for academic purposes program 3 (EAP3): overall 5.5 points

Foundation Studies, One-Year Diploma and Two-Stage Diploma Programs

Students must hold a minimum of one of the below qualifications to enrol in the foundation studies program, one-year diploma program or two-stage diploma program at Eynesbury College:

  • IELTS (Academic): overall score of 5.5, with no less than 5.0 in any individual band
  • TOEFL: 50 (IBT)
  • GCE ‘O' Level / IGCSE: Grade C / 4
  • GCE A Level: Grade C
  • SPM: 1119 with C grade or CEFR with Level B2
  • Hong Kong: HKDSE Level 3
  • Kenya: KCSE Year 11 Grade C in English for FSP or KCSE Grade C in English for diploma programs
  • Pearson (PTE Academic): 42 (students from India, minimum 50)
  • Eynesbury College ELICOS: EAP 2 (plus minimum attendance requirements)
  • CELUSA (Academic English): AE3
  • Year 11 / 12 SACE: Successful completion of Y12 SACE (or equivalent) with EAL minimum 40% (diploma programs) or successful completion of Y11 (SACE stage 1 or equivalent) with EAL at Grade C ( FSP and diploma programs)
  • EIKEN: Grade 1
  • PVT: 50

Eynesbury merit scholarships

Eynesbury College offers scholarships for high-performing students from the following countries:

  • Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Latin America, Macau, Malaysia, EMEAA (Dubai, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zimbabwe), Middle East (Iran, Kuwait, UAE), Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Saudi, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Vietnam.

The value of the scholarships ranges from 10 to 50 percent of the program fee, depending on the academic performance of the student in their most recent year of schooling in their home country.

University progression scholarships

University progression scholarships are provided to Eynesbury College students through The University of Adelaide, University of South Australia and Flinders University. These are designed specifically for high-achieving international students who go on to study a degree at the institution in question.

The value of an Eynesbury College university progression scholarship ranges from 5 percent to 50 percent of the program fee.

These scholarships have specific eligibility requirements and conditions.

Navitas family bursaries

Eynesbury College, as an entity of Navitas Pty Ltd, offers a family bursary equivalent to 10 percent of the program fee for the first attempt at a module. The bursary applies when two or more students from the same family study with a Navitas member institution, such as Eynesbury College.

Student support

Eynesbury College works hard to ensure that its students have a safe and comfortable study experience. During the COVID-19 pandemic, additional health and safety measures were put in place, and the college continues to place the health and safety of students as its top priority.

Staff at the college are always available to provide help and support to students in times of need. There are several support services and resources that students can utilise during their time at the college, including both academic and pastoral guidance.

Students under the age of 18 regularly meet with accommodation coordinators, ensuring they have a safe space to discuss any social, academic or other issues.

Student safety

The city of Adelaide has been named Australia's safest capital and is home to around 1.3 million people. The Economist Intelligence Unit named it the fifth most liveable city in the world. It is a friendly and affordable student city, ranking in 26th place globally in the 2024 QS Best Student Cities.

Eynesbury College can organise airport pickups for new students arriving to Adelaide.

Quan Hoang Tran, Vietnam

International student Quan Hoang Tran took the foundation studies program at Eynesbury College. He then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in marketing and communication from the University of South Australia.
