Skyline College is one of three comprehensive community colleges within the San Mateo County Community College District. The District also includes Cañada College in Redwood City, and the College of San Mateo. Opened in 1969, Skyline College is located just south of San Francisco in San Bruno on a site overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The College serves a diverse population, drawing a wide ethnic and socio-economic range of local and international students to its dynamic campus.

Students can choose from more than 100 degree and certificate programs to achieve their educational goals in an affordable and supportive environment. Key transfer agreements set with a wide range of public and private colleges including UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Davis and San Francisco State University make Skyline College a top destination for students hoping to transfer to a four-year college or university.

The College brings together complementary student success resources within academic divisions to provide excellent educational programs, state-of-the-art technology, and integrated services and instruction that strive to seamlessly blend education with the resources that enhance it.

Located in the north Peninsula just south of San Francisco, Skyline College is situated on a 111-acre bluff with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. The college is easily accessible from Highways 280 and 380 and a short drive from Highways 101 and 92.
