Pathway Programs

USFP equips students with the skills needed to kickstart their undergraduate journey at the University of Sydney.

The University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP)

• Extended Program (18 months) - Intake: January and July
• Standard Program (12 months) - Intake: January and July
• Intensive Program (9 months) - Intake: April and October

HAPP offers a fast-track pathway into the first year of a bachelor's degree. In just 14 weeks, students can sharpen their skills and knowledge, ensuring a smooth transition into undergraduate studies.

The High Achievers Preparation Program (HAPP)

• HAPP (14 weeks) - Intake: September

Applicants for the Intensive Foundation Program must have achieved superior grades in English and relevant academic subjects. Students applying for the Standard Foundation Program must have achieved at least average grades in English and relevant subjects. The Extended Foundation Program is designed for students who do not qualify for the Standard program, or who want to develop a more solid foundation in key subjects such as mathematics or the sciences. Forecast results are accepted where appropriate.

Applicants for the High Achievers Preparation Program must have achieved excellent grades in English and relevant academic subjects. Forecast results are accepted where appropriate.

• Extended - IELTS (Academic) 5.0 (no band less than 5.0)

From July 2024, Taylors College Sydney will be implementing a new Curriculum for the University of Sydney Preparation Program (USFP) across Standard, Intensive, and Extended streams. Students that successfully complete Taylors' pathway programs will continue to have access to a wide range of University of Sydney bachelor degrees across business, computer science, engineering, health sciences, law, etc.
