The 2,250 acre Fairbanks campus is located near the center of Alaska. It offers limitless opportunities for activity and recreation. The main campus has two lakes and miles of trails as well as a major student recreation complex for indoor sports. The Fairbanks campus is the state wide university system's principal research center.
