Overview
Through its academic and language programs, the University of Canberra College (UC College) enables students who have not met the University of Canberra's (UC) entry requirements to progress directly into degree-level study. Students receive substantial support, ensuring the transition into university life goes smoothly.
UC College offers the following package pathways:
- International Foundation Studies: a pathway program for international students seeking entry into the first year of most undergraduate degrees at UC.
- Diplomas: offering personalised academic support and guidance to students, diplomas provide up to one year of credit in a chosen undergraduate degree.
- Graduate Certificate in Academic Foundations: a pathway course for international students who want to enrol on a master's degree, but do not meet the postgraduate coursework degree entry requirements.
- English language programs: intensive language classes for students who do not meet the minimum English language requirements.
The University of Canberra has been ranked in 34th place globally in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings (2023). It is an institution with global reach, and almost a quarter of its 11,000 students are from overseas.
UC College is based on UC's main campus, and its students are treated the same as degree-level students, with access to the university's exemplary services and facilities. Furthermore, all international students are guaranteed accommodation through the university's residence providers.
