As one of only six private schools in the country to win the coveted National Blue Ribbon award five times, Carmel Catholic High School helps students realize their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
Located on a picturesque 50-acre campus in the beautiful Chicago North Shore in Illinois, Carmel Catholic High School provides students with an academically rigorous boarding environment where they can explore their passions, earn university credit and excel in top-tier facilities. At this private school, students have access to more than 200 Honor, Advanced Placement (AP) and College Prep courses in a wide variety of subjects, ranging from mobile app development to international business. Students can also take part in more than 40 on-campus clubs - including a robotics team ranked #1 in the world - and 48 athletic teams. In addition, the school offers students technologically-advanced labs, a recently built fine and performing arts center, the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and a unique Business Incubator Program, where students have an authentic entrepreneurship experience.
Carmel Catholic High School offers an academically rigorous curriculum that includes 78 honors and 23 AP courses, as well as 12 dual enrollment courses that can be taken for university credit. This - in addition to the school's wide range of elective courses - allows students to customize their high school experience so they can pursue their unique interests and gain a deep understanding in subjects they may wish to further study in university. The school also offers students STEM courses, a unique Business INCubator program where they can gain real world business experience and the Penwascize Health Careers program, where students can learn first hand about careers in healthcare.
