Certificate in General English (2 - 48 weeks)

Our General English classes are fun and interesting, drawing on a range of materials and media. You will learn with classmates from around the world. Our teachers will help you develop your English skills to build confidence so you can make the most of your experience in New Zealand.

A student finishing the Starter level can:

Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases.
Introduce him/herself and others.
Ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
