GRE scores: The MCP program does not require GRE scores, although some programs at Auburn University do. Therefore, you will see a section for GRE scores on the online application. You may submit these scores if you have them, but they are not required.

Recommendation letters: Have a minimum of three letters of recommendation completed within the ApplyYourself web center by listing your references and their contact information. References can complete an online form and submit an additional letter in PDF in the online application system.

Statement of Intent: Please upload a short letter describing why you want to pursue a degree in Community Planning into the appropriate section in the online application system.

Bachelor?s degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Successful international applicants must score at least 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) paper version (pBT), 213 on the computer version (cBT), and 79 on the internet version (iBT). Additionally, successful applicants must score minimums of 16 on the listening, reading, speaking, and writing components of the iBT.
Auburn will also accept a 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam.

The successful applicant normally will meet one of the following: a) a GPA of at least 2.75 on all undergraduate course work at an accredited United States institution in fulfillment of the requirements for a baccalaureate degree, b) a GPA of at least 3.0 on all graduate course work at an accredited United States institution in fulfillment of the requirements for a graduate degree, or c) an acceptable GRE or GMAT score as determined by the program to which the applicant applies.
