Heller’s Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development Program (SID) is committed to socially just and sustainable development – which means that we focus on addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality in the world’s most marginalized communities. Together, our community of students, scholars, and practitioners create solutions to the most pressing global issues.
Through this two-year program, students typically spend a year in residence taking classes, then during the second year, complete a six-month practicum in the field and write a final paper. Several track options are available, including a one-year program, a second year in residence and numerous dual and joint degree options.

Entry requirements for 布蘭迪斯大學
The statement of purpose is a pivotal piece of the application and should discuss the applicant’s reasons for applying to the MA in Sustainable International Development program. Your statement of purpose should highlight any previous academic and professional experiences that make you a strong candidate for this degree.
A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a comparable degree from a foreign academic institution is required.
We must receive transcripts from every university, college, or graduate institution you have attended. Transcripts should show the name of each course and the grade received, as well as the year/term in which it was taken.
Applicants to the program must submit three letters of recommendation.
7.0 on the IELTS. 94 on the TOEFL.
