Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security

Offered online, on campus, or via a combination of formats, the Graduate the Certificate in Homeland Security (CHLS) is an outstanding addition to the resume of anyone interested in a career related to homeland security, public safety including emergency management, law enforcement, or cyber security, public service in federal, state, or local government, or the public sector. Courses are taught by nationally and internationally acclaimed faculty members, often times accompanied with a student presence of full time working professionals who bring unique experiences and expertise to the class room. The Certificate in Homeland Security (CHLS) program at Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government and Public Service was exactly what I needed to augment my existing master’s degree. In the private sector, we are challenged to provide state-of-the-art technology solutions to critical infrastructure providers and first responders. The CHLS program helped me gain key global insight into the broad spectrum of challenges our customers face. I’ve been able to now view the market we serve differently, and more proactively, to ensure we’re not only serving our customers well, but also helping improve the overall security of our homeland.
