If you are Indigenous and want help getting your writing, math and study skills up to speed for a post-secondary course, this program is for you.
You'll gain knowledge and confidence, supported by instructors, fellow students and community Elders.
Our goal is for you to gain all the academic skills you need to move into one of the many post-secondary programs at CapU. You could go into Business, Film, Tourism or a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies — whatever your dream is, we're here to help you get there.

Identify cultural influences on learning to develop personal strategies for lifelong learning.
Apply strategies for academic success.
Apply the elements of clear spoken and written communication.
Collaborate with others to achieve a common goal.
Apply critical thinking, critical reading, and critical writing to articulate multiple points of view.
Apply quantitative reasoning skills to solve mathematical problems.

如何申請
Entry requirements for 卡布蘭諾大學
High school graduation, English 11 or English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 with a C or higher.
Students must submit official high school and university or college transcripts for admission.We will accept photocopies of transcripts if certified by the authorizing high school, university, or college officer. Notarized copies are not acceptable.An academic document is original if issued to the student by the institution following that institution?s policies. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
B.C. secondary school (Grade 12) or equivalent (B.C. Adult Dogwood Graduation Diploma or General Education Diploma). International students: See International Secondary School Equivalencies (pdf).
A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses.
IELTS - 6.5, TOEFL iBT - 83, PBT-560, DET (Duolingo English Test) ? Being accepted on a temporary basis until the Fall 2022 term Required minimum mark: 110
