The Grip Work for Digital Imaging and Film program prepares you for a role as a grip in motion picture, digital imaging and commercial production.
Grips build, secure and maintain all equipment relating to camera operations, including dollies, tracks, tripods, cranes and static rigs.
They work closely with the electric and camera departments as well as the director of photography to ensure heavy duty equipment is used safely.
The technical hands-on training methods you'll learn in this program will help build a strong understanding of the procedures, methods and requirements for working as a grip.

Entry requirements for 卡布蘭諾大學
High school graduation, Students must submit official high school and university or college transcripts for admission.We will accept photocopies of transcripts if certified by the authorizing high school, university, or college officer. Notarized copies are not acceptable.An academic document is original if issued to the student by the institution following that institution?s policies. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
B.C. secondary school (Grade 12) or equivalent (B.C. Adult Dogwood Graduation Diploma or General Education Diploma). International students: See International Secondary School Equivalencies (pdf).
A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses.
IELTS - 6.5, TOEFL iBT - 83, PBT-560, DET (Duolingo English Test) ? Being accepted on a temporary basis until the Fall 2022 term Required minimum mark: 110
