Entry requirements for 卡爾頓大學

The normal requirement for admission into the doctoral program is a master's degree (or the equivalent) in communication or a cognate field such as journalism studies, with an overall average of B+ or better.
Applicants who have deficiencies in certain areas may be admitted to the Ph.D. Program, but will normally be required to complete additional course work.
TOEFL – an overall score of 86 on the internet-based test (iBT) with a minimum score in each component of writing – 22, speaking – 22, reading – 20, and listening – 20, or IELTS – score of 7 in all components, orc) CAEL – score of 70.
One copy of uploaded academic transcripts from the university or universities you have attended.
One uploaded curriculum vitae (CV /Resumé).
One copy of uploaded sample of written work, from your most recent degree program, typically a graduate essay.
One uploaded statement of intent .
Two electronic confidential referee appraisal forms.* Ensure that the referee information provided on your OUAC application form is correct and that the referees have been informed of their role.
