關於課程
Aerospace engineering, a multifaceted field, merges advanced theories with on-field practices including advanced aerodynamics, structural engineering, and spacecraft systems. Advanced manufacturing methods, autonomous aerospace vehicles and sustainable technologies all combine to offer the latest insights and learning opportunities.
This MSc will prepare you with the knowledge, skills and values needed for a career in the growing aerospace industry, with a particular emphasis on multidisciplinary aerospace technologies aimed at reducing environmental impact. City, University of London is of the few universities in the UK that offers a combination of Green Aerospace Technologies and Advanced Manufacturing that are focused on the requirements, challenges and possible solutions of technologies that promote sustainability in aviation. You will be able to specialise in the field of automation and autonomy in aircraft and ground systems by taking on specifically designed modules (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). These topics have increasingly attained a higher profile in the aerospace industry over the last six years.
The specialist topics studied on the programme are designed to prepare you for work in companies involved with aerospace engineering, but there are also many roles in related industries that rely on the same technology, such as the automotive industry.
Possible destinations could include the fields of Design, Research and Development, Operations and Management, Structural and Avionics Engineering.
