Entry requirements for 哥倫比亞大學

In addition to the requirements listed below, all students must submit one transcript showing courses and grades per school attended, a statement of academic purpose, and three letters of evaluation from academic sources.
Test Scores Required- 600 on the TOEFL paper-and-pencil test, 100 on the TOEFL internet-based test, 7.5 on IELTS. For the EEB Ph.D. program, an undergraduate degree is required, preferably with a major in one of the natural sciences. It is also desirable that students have had course work in calculus, physics, chemistry, statistics, genetics, ecology, and organismal biology. Prior research experience in your subdiscipline (e.g., field biology or genomics) is helpful. The GRE general test is required. Applicants must also contact a faculty member with whom the applicant is interested in working and who may act as the applicant’s dissertation sponsor. An undergraduate degree and the general GRE are required.
