Entry requirements for 紐西蘭東部理工學院

An undergraduate degree in information technology with a B pass or better. Where the candidate’s undergraduate degree does not provide the basis of study at the level required for more advanced study, students will be required to enrol in the Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology before continuing to Masters level. Approved scores on TOEFL or IELTS (6.5 Academic) with no band score lower than 6.0 or equivalent. TOEFL Paper- based test (pBT) - Score of 590 (with an essay
score of 5.5 TWE) TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) - Score of 79 (with a writing score of 21) A personal interview may be part of the application process. Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: Successful completion of a 3-year IT degree or equivalent qualification with an average of B or better across all courses, OR Successful completion of a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology with an average of B or better across all courses, OR Successful completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology with an average of B or better across all courses, OR IT Degree or IT post graduate qualification graduates may not have achieved an average of B pass or better who can demonstrate evidence of significant IT work and professional experience at degree level or above. These applicants will be required to participate in an interview.
