Entry requirements for 北卡羅萊納州立大學

IELTS Academic-6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score)
TOEFL IBT-International applicants must also have a TOEFL score of 80 or higher
TOEFL Paper Based-550 or higher.
To be considered for admission in full graduate standing, applicants must have:
(a) a four-year bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university. Exceptions to standard accreditation may be granted for applicants with international degrees, including applicants with three-year degrees from institutions in Europe participating in the Bologna Process.
(b) a GPA of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) in their undergraduate degrees.
Due to the large number of applications, pre-screening is not performed. You will have to formally apply before an assessment of your admissibility can be made. There are a few guidelines, however, which are listed below. Please note that there are a wide variety of factors that are considered and there are exceptions to these guidelines, but they must be justified.
GPA ? a Graduate School minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
TOEFL/ IELTS ? a required minimum TOEFL Internet-based Test (iTB) score for international students whose native language is not English of 18 on each part and a total score of at least 80. We also accept the IELTS exam (minimum score of 6.5 on each section).
GRE ? GRE minimum scores are: verbal ? 146, quantitative ? 155, analytical writing 3.5.
Unofficial transcript(s) from all universities and institutions at which you took a course that counted toward your current degree.

We require transcripts from all universities and institutions at which you took a course that counted toward your current degree. During the application process, you may submit an unofficial or official transcript from each post-secondary institution attended, but the NCSU Graduate School will request official transcripts if/when you are admitted to the program.
A copy of your resume or CV

Your resume or CV should be electronically attached to your application ? we do not accept mailed or emailed copies of these documents. Once you attach your resume or CV, you will be unable to add a newer or updated copy. We will only consider the resume or CV that is included with your application.
Your written Personal Statement- The Personal Statement must be written by you. There are no strict guidelines for this, and there is no minimum or maximum word count requirement. It is up to you what you write. We suggest that it cover your engineering interests, academic and research experience, graduate school plans, and post-graduation plans.
