Entry requirements for 威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校

GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) Required* Applicants who have earned, or will be earning before starting the program, a bachelor's degree from UW-Madison are exempt from submitting a GRE test score.
All applicants must complete the supplemental application section that identifies their research interest area.
All applicants must upload a copy of their transcripts from their undergraduate institution and other previous higher education institutions. Applicants must upload a transcript for each institution attended. Please do not send any hard-copies of transcript unless specifically instructed to by the E C E Graduate Admissions Office.
Please do not mail any paper copies of application materials.
3 Letters of Recommendation Required

A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a comparable degree from an international institution is required. International applicants must have a degree comparable to a regionally accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree.
A minimum undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 on the equivalent of the last 60 semester hours (approximately two years of work) or a master’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required. Applicants from an international institution must demonstrate strong academic achievement comparable to a 3.00 for an undergraduate or master’s degree.

The required proficiency scores are: Minimum TOEFL requirement: 92 internet (iBT), 580 paper-based test (PBT), Minimum IELTS requirement: 7.0
