Master of Science in Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering (EE) division in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers programs leading to the MS and PhD degrees in EE. Areas of study include Solid-State, Photonic, and Quantum Technologies (design, analysis, and proof-of-concept development of solid-state and photonic devices and systems) and Signals and Systems (communication networks, signal processing, and control). The master of science in electrical engineering program provides students with the flexibility to specialize in different aspects of the field of electrical engineering. Students in the program work closely with faculty members in the department who are leaders in the field.

Many students in the program pursue independent research as a part of their degree by working in a research lab with a faculty member.
