The Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Program (ECEGP) provides graduate instruction and cutting-edge research in a wide spectrum of areas including communications, control, networking, and signal processing, computer engineering, electronic circuits, optoelectronics, radio frequency (RF), micro- and millimeter waves, and physical electronics. Students graduate with the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary for professional research and teaching in electrical and computer engineering.

The UC Davis Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking graduate students for our master’s program. Admission to the UC Davis master’s program in electrical and computer engineering is competitive. Successful applicants in recent years had an average undergraduate GPA above 3.5 (out of 4.0) and average GRE scores of 770 (161 on the new exam) Quantitative, 490 (152) Verbal, and 4.0 Analytical.Entering students normally are expected to have completed the B.S. degree requirements with at least a 3.5/4.0 grade-point average in upper-division technical courses.

A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) from the institution where you have earned or will earn your bachelor's degree.
