On this course, you have the opportunity to develop specific expertise in robotics alongside skills in mechanical engineering, making you employable by various sectors, from robot design and development to autonomous cars, robotics, automation, mechatronics, automotive, aerospace, and renewable energies. Our world-class research in robotics, dynamics and control, space systems, sensors, and flexible electronics informs our degrees to give you the best start in your career.
You’ll study in our Future Technologies Labs, which provides a new space for building robots, and programming embedded systems, as well as state-of-the-art computer design and modelling suites. In particular, you will have access to our flexible manufacturing system, industrial robotic manipulator, humanoid robots, fleet of drones, autonomous vehicles, and a real-time motion monitoring system.
We have dedicated academic advisers to support you during you time at Sussex, as well as a team of student mentors.

Entry requirements for 薩賽克斯大學
You will need good grades in your high school leaving qualifications and may sometimes require additional study (depending on the qualification structure in your home country).
International Baccalaureate - Typical offer 34 points overall from the full IB Diploma. Subjects - Higher Levels must include Mathematics, with a grade of 5.
Typical A-level offer: AAB
IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in each component, TOEFL (iBT) - 88 overall, including at least 20 in Listening, 19 in Reading, 21 in Speaking, 23 in Writing.
GCSEs:
You should have a broad range of GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.
English language requirements
