We are one of a few mining schools in Canada with facilities and expertise in Mining, Mineral Processing, Rock Mechanics, Social License, Mine Economics and Environmental Sustainability. Enroll in a Master of Engineering degree at a top ranked university and in one of the most beautiful and liveable cities in the world.
Our cohort-based, professional degree is a course-based masters which allows one to specialize in one of the following areas:
Mining Geotechnics,
Mineral Processing,
Mine Economics,
Mine Waste Management
Mining Sustainability and the Environment.
The program attracts mining professionals from all corners of the world and creates a diverse network of mining expertise. Students benefit from the academic content as well as the international professional experience each student brings to the program. Students also have the opportunity to enhance their experience with an 4-8 month paid work term.

Entry requirements for 英屬哥倫比亞大學
International applicants are eligible who hold a credential deemed comparable to a Canadian four-year baccalaureate degree and who demonstrate superior academic standing, equivalent to an overall degree standing of B+ (at UBC 76% or higher).
Academic History including: Institution Names, Countries, Dates, Degrees
Specialization Specific Questions:
Specialization: Please select one of the four specializations or select “Other”
Statement of Intent: Please give a brief summary of your reason for applying to UBC, the MEng program and mining engineering. (maximum 500 words)
Work Experiences: Please highlight your work experiences.
Internship Experiences: Please highlight any internship experiences.

Transcripts
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): minimum score 90 for the internet-based exam (with minimum component scores of 22 [reading, listening] and 21 [writing, speaking].
IELTS (International English Language Testing Service): minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no other component score less than 6.0 of the academic (NOT general) IELTS test
English language requirements
