Ontario College Diploma in Social Service Worker

The Social Services Worker program is a two-year Ontario College Diploma. Students will learn human behaviour and psychology, individual and social problems, and proven social techniques. Graduates will enter this competitive field with the necessary practical skills and hands-on experience to begin a career within private or public social agencies and programs. This two-year Social Service Worker program is designed to prepare students for basic social work practice in social agencies and social welfare programs, both public and private, by providing them with a sound knowledge of human behaviour, individual and social problems and of the necessary helping techniques and skills.
