關於課程
The IEP at Georgia State University is known as an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program. Course content, activities and assignments are designed to prepare students for the language demands of university work. Students placed at the intermediate to advanced levels will read, discuss and write about topics from academic courses. At the beginning and low-intermediate levels, students focus primarily on basic language skills. Students are expected to attend class, do homework and take tests, just as they will be expected to do in a university.
Sessions begin three times a year following the U.S. academic calendar (August, January, May)
Emphasis on English for communication and academic study
Professional faculty and staff who are highly engaged in international education and ESL teaching and learning
Exciting, urban environment with plentiful cultural activities
Full access with Georgia State University Panthercard ID to campus libraries, recreation center, sporting events, computing centers, language lab, and to all other student services and activities
