Bachelor of Nursing (Honours)

This programme has been designed to enhance your skills and learnings gained from completing a Bachelor of Nursing. It is an ideal programme for a qualified nurse to build their research capacity, upgrade their qualification, maintain currency in their clinical practice or expand their career path opportunities. In most cases you will work in partnership with a clinical academic supervisor to complete a project designed with your current employer. The BNurs(Hons) programme will provide you with knowledge and skills to practise nursing and develop scholarship and leadership in nursing. The programme aims to develop critical and reflective practitioners who are able to pursue professional practice and further research. We advise that the University of Auckland is not involved in the employment of graduates and can make no guarantee of post-qualification registration or employment in New Zealand or any other country.
