Entry requirements for 威奇塔州立大學

Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.500 on a 4.000 scale for all graduate-level hours. In addition, applicants must have validated strengths on the multiple indicators listed as follows:
Official transcripts with 3.50 GPA for the last 60 hours
Official transcripts of all college-level work completed, and indication of a degree conferral,
Evidence of three years of formal experience in P-12, higher education, or other educational organizations,
At least three letters of recommendation from supervisors and/or professional peers that attest to the applicant?s potential for success as an educational leader,
A current resume or curriculum vita of educational and professional experience,
A brief, one-page statement of professional goals related to the completion of the doctoral degree in educational leadership, and
A sample of academic writing (such as a published article or paper written for a graduate-level course).
To be acceptable, the score must be sent to WSU directly from the testing agency, and must be less than two years old. The minimum acceptable scores for most programs are: TOEFL ? 79 on the Internet-based test, or 550 on the paper-based test. IELTS ? minimum overall band score of 6.5 is required.
For programs where the minimum requirement for admission is the master?s degree, students must achieve a grade point average of at least a 3.250 from a U.S. institution, or its equivalent from a foreign institution in all graduate-level coursework.
