The Industrial/Organizational concentration of the Master of Science program in Psychology at WKU is a two-year graduate program designed for students seeking preparation as M.S. psychologists in business, industry, service organizations, consulting firms, or government agencies. The objective of the concentration is the development of marketable skills in the areas of test construction and validation, personnel selection and placement, performance appraisal, and training. Work motivation, job satisfaction, and organizational development techniques are also studied. The development of applied skills is achieved through the integration of practical experience and formal course work. The I/O concentration adheres to a scientist-practitioner model of training. Students learn to evaluate and apply theory and research. In particular, the concentration is designed to train personnel specialists.

Entry requirements for 西肯塔基大學
Applicants to the Master of Science in Psychology program should meet the following eligibility requirements:
Have taken a statistics and research methodology course
Have a background in psychology
Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 with a 3.0 in psychology courses
3 letters of recommendation
500-word personal statement describing professional interests and career goals
College transcripts
GRE scores
Although there are no formal minimum GRE scores, admission is competitive. The average GRE scores of recently admitted students are approximately 153 (V) and 148 (Q).
Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university.
Original copy/copies of transcripts/marksheets in English for evaluation by the Graduate School. TOEFL: 79 (IBT), 56 (paper-delivered test), 550 (paper-based test). IELTS: 6.5 (scores must be sent as hard copies from the British Council). Minimum Graduate School admission requirements include an earned bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a 2.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
