Gain valuable experience by producing, hosting and broadcasting on HCC?s radio station. Coursework emphasizes real-life training for those who want to be on-camera talent or behind the scenes. During two internships in radio, television, film or with multimedia companies, students get genuine experience and time with industry professionals. This hands-on, skills-based program will prepare students for careers in television, radio, and media production for the Internet. Students will learn to produce music videos, talk shows, sports programs, music shows, concerts, and news shows for television, radio and the Internet using professional video cameras, high-quality nonlinear video editing equipment, and professional audio editing software. Students can gain valuable experience by broadcasting on the college?s radio station and the educational TV cable channel.
